SWIFT Dashboard

Fellow Research Professionals,

As the original online panel broker, one of the most powerful tools in the EMI toolbox is our technology. The ability to use one set of redirect links for all studies makes EMI very easy to work with. We also provide the least risk sample solution by de-duplicating across multiple panels as needed on a project by project basis.

In order to ensure the highest level of data quality on all projects we have developed an internal digital finger printing technology called Swift Dashboard. SWIFT Dashboard is EMI’s Sampling With Integrated Fingerprinting Technology Dashboard that allows us to de-duplicate sample while managing multiple quotas and partners.

Explicitly, our technology generates a unique identifier from the respondent computer using a “User Stamp,” made up of non-personal information (such as, but not limited to: IP, browser type, operating system, media player, etc). If a respondent attempts to enter the survey again the system recognizes the User Stamp and does not link the respondent to the client survey. This solution fully integrates EMI’s survey redirect tool and can uniquely exclude all those User Stamps across a group of studies (for example, tracking studies with unique respondents across various waves).

EMI also lowers your risk by allowing us to set quota groups and not allow too much sample into your study. Monitoring activity we consider a full time job at EMI and is the foundation of why success happens without luck involved.

In Q3 2010, EMI will enhance SWIFT Dashboard to allow for exclusion of respondents based on geographic IP address. It will also include an improved balancing algorithm to assist when projects need balanced click-thrus on quotas.

With SWIFT Dashboard, EMI aims to save our clients time and money by allowing one set of redirects, de-duplicated access to 70+ global panels, digital finger printing and a balancing control assurance. Providing this technology under one roof at no additional cost helps ensure we can be trusted to fulfill even the most challenging studies with high quality data every time.

Sincerely,

The EMI Team
